Division of Housing

The Division of Housing within the Department of Community Development is led by Vanessa Falco. The division seeks to provide greater accessibility and more resources to address the City’s affordable housing needs. The Division oversees the City's stock of affordable housing and rent controlled units and also encompasses the City’s Rent Control Office.

Affordable Housing

The City has 62 affordable housing units and more are planned through various redevelopment agreements. There are affordable housing opportunities and programs available to residents in the City of Hoboken. Learn more

The office staff assists landlords and tenants in understating the impact the Municipal Rent Control Ordinance, Chapter 155, may have on their properties and apartments. Learn more
